Why everyone keeps coming back.

Restaurante A Marina de MUXÍA is a true gem nestled in the heart of Muxía, A Coruña, where authentic Galician flavors come alive right by the picturesque harbor. Specializing in fresh, local seafood, this charming restaurant and bar offers an inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances rustic coastal charm with attentive, warm service.

Step inside and you’re greeted by the soothing sounds of the sea mingling with the friendly buzz of happy diners. The menu shines with regional specialties that celebrate the bounty of the Atlantic. Diners rave about the langostinos and almejas served with a zesty onion salsa—vibrantly fresh with every bite bursting with briny sweetness and a subtle tang. The lenguada, tender and flawlessly cooked, melts on the palate, showcasing the kitchen’s precision and respect for quality ingredients.

One cannot help but be drawn to the signature “salburiñas,” described by visitors as rich, flavorful delights that are as visually appealing as they are indulgently tasty. Whether you crave the catch of the day or a perfectly grilled entrecot, Restaurante A Marina de MUXÍA promises mastery in every dish. Even those who encountered minor hiccups have noted the consistently high standards and friendly professionalism of the staff, who eagerly take the time to explain daily specials and recommend pairings.

Dining here is enhanced by the stunning setting along the harbor promenade. The outdoor patio, fitted with umbrellas, thoughtfully shelters guests from sun and rain alike, allowing you to soak in breathtaking maritime views in complete comfort. It's no surprise that many visitors, including those rested from a Camino walk, return multiple times during their stay—drawn back by the unbeatable combination of superb seafood, excellent value, and a welcoming vibe that feels like a home away from home.

For lovers of Galician cuisine and those seeking an authentic, sensory food experience framed by stunning coastal views and genuine hospitality, Restaurante A Marina de MUXÍA stands out as a heartfelt tribute to the sea and its flavors.

Cooked to perfection and very good value for money! Friendly staff who explained the menu and the special fish offerings for the day. Umbrellas on the patio to keep the sun (and rain!) off. I'd happily return next time!

Fantastic Seafood & Service – A Few Tweaks Away From Perfect A Marina de MUXIA Restaurant left us with a great overall impression. The *salburiñas* were absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented—and the fish dishes were fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was also outstanding: warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. On our first visit, the *entrecot* was overcooked and dry, which was disappointing. But when we returned, the staff went out of their way to acknowledge the issue and even encouraged us to let them know next time so they could make it right. That level of care and commitment really stood out to us. While the steak could still use some refinement, the rest of the menu—especially the seafood—is excellent. With such a strong foundation and such a dedicated team, we’re confident this place will only get better. Highly recommended if you’re in Muxía!

This is a great restaurant! The service is prompt and friendly. The seafood is delicious! And the setting is great - it is right on the harbour promenade in Muxia, and has great views out over the harbour. I have been in Muxia for a week (resting from walking a Camino) and have gone here for lunch 5 times! I have never been disappointed. I love it.

From the moment I arrived you could feel the vibrant, relaxed and professional atmosphere. The Fish Stew was delicious- typical of the Galician style. It was perfectly seasoned the accompanying potatoes had a wonderful balance of salt and butterishness. ( my own word). FYI the fish is not boned - true to Galician fish stew. It is not meant to be. Enjoy

Out of the many restaurants in the main street facing the harbour, this one looks like more of a tavern for locals than a fancy fish restaurant. We sit in and receive a pincho with the first beer (no vegetarian pincho available). Vegetarian options are salads and the pimientos, so we go for both. We also try zamburinas, percebes and pulpo, while drinking a bottle of Albarin, local white wine. We pay 43€ each (price is affected by the percebes, 35€ for a plate, that's not super high compared to other restaurants nearby).
